Mission
The Big Room works in collaboration with clients to consciously design and build stylish and efficient personal environments while having a minimal impact on the greater environment.
Philosophy
The Big Room's philosophy is to start each project by looking at it from a sustainable viewpoint. That means looking through the lens of minimal impact on the environment, how to best utilize the earth's natural energy sources, controlling and reusing waste, and how to create a healthy indoor environment - for the long haul.
What does it mean to be a sustainable building?
A sustainable building is one whose construction and lifetime of operation assure the healthiest possible environment while representing the most efficient and least disruptive use of land, water, energy and resources. The ideal "green" project preserves and restores habitat that is vital for sustaining life and becomes a net producer and exporter of resources, materials, energy and water rather than being a net consumer.
We believe that the consumers' power of purchase shapes the marketplace. Choose wisely.

Our Subcontractors
Quote:
This we know, the earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself."
– Chief Seattle to the President
Statistic:
Today's population uses in one day what it took nature 10,000 days to create.
